Bought it because I thought it would sound like the vintage yamaha orthodynamic headphones(very nice mid range), also prefer even warmer headphones
there is a pretty good hype on this headphone at headfi, the HE-5 woody version was a sold out at jaben, I never manage to audition it
100 hrs of burn-in... I believe it will sound better as time pass , I am still burning-in further, maybe it may sound better and I might keep it :P
also DIYed a mundorf silver gold 4pin XLR cable 1.5m - u may buy it at USD$70
