I can only help with the T3, which I had for about 3 months. It does not have a bass boost, and to my ear, it gave a nice increase in clarity, but not so much of a bass increase.
I can say that with your IEMs, going from the RE0 to the Hippo VB will be about as big a pendulum swing in bottom end as you can do -- no bass boost needed for the VB, for sure.
