"Diamond Eyes"; a Deftones Masterpiece

Okay, I know "masterpiece" is not a word you throw around easily on Head-Fi but I have to say that I am simply blown away by this album.

Not only can I not stop listening to it, but it seems to just get better with time.

Drawing on/combining the intensity of Adrenaline with White Pony-esque melodies, while still managing to sound completely fresh and original, and you get a truly terrific album. The production is fantastic as well.

A must buy.

I dunno, I listened to the whole album once yesterday, and it just felt kind of generic.

979-EVIL  is an amazing track. Overall a return to form. They are only playing at the  Download Festival in England. I was hoping they would do a solo gig. The last time I saw them live was for their self-titled album release.
