SOLD Stax SR-80 PRO with SRM-Xs Amp SOLD

I'm letting go of my first Stax system, the SR-80mx system that I bought new. They come with a dedicated amp, so plug in your your favorite source and you're ready to go. They won't load down your source as dynamic headphones do, so even portable devices can sound their best. They're not nearly as picky with source material as true electrostatics and are more compact, yet their sound is a bit reminiscent of SR-Lambdas, especially in the midrange where it counts. I think they're worthy of the title "Lambda Juniors".

 

Condition: Missing inner foam--otherwise Excellent. $120 shipped CONUS
