I am now selling the HD650 without the Cardis cable. $350. I am the original owner. The cans are in perfect condition. Absolutely no signs of wear.

Your price is very high for a used HD650.

Hi buddy i have to say your price for HD650 is kind of high considering J&R and onecall always has them for around 325.

I have been out of the headphone world for a while, so I'm not current on all of the pricing. But I did some research before I listed the HD650s.

According to the Google Products search page, the shipped price for almost all of the stores is $499 or more. J&Rs price with shipping is $512.71. The only two companies that are selling them below $460 (shipped) are electronic stores that are known for shipping grey market products and ripping off their customers. I knew the Cardas cable sold for $222, so I thought my original asking price of $450 for the package was fair.

These headphones are PERFECT, with very little use, and I am the original owner. They look brand new - showing absolutely no signs of wear.  If you had a brand new pair to compare them with, you would not be able to tell the difference.

I looked at other 650's that were for sale here - that still had their price posted. Some where second owners, had headbands that had been broken, etc.

I don't know how long they keep feedback on this site, but if it dates back over the last dozen years, you will see that everyone who has ever bought anything from me has been extremely happy with their purchase. I describe everything exactly as it is. (You might want to take a look at my ATH W1000's posting where I note a dimple in the wood the size of a pin point).

Perhaps $350 is high, but I need to get as much as I can to support my family - we are broke. I have listed the headphones at a variety of locations. If they don't sell, I may lower the price.

Also, perhaps I have had too much coffee - I didn't mean for this post to be so long!

Well then if you're broke why are you buying highend headphones, a used will go for $280 on ebay and around here probably less, no one should ever pay more unless it's brand new.

What? I'm NOT buying high-end headphones - I'm selling them. I'm also not putting a gun to anyone's head and making them buy my headphones.

Thanks for the clarification Kevin. Good luck on your sale.

Actually seems like a very reasonable price to me considering the retail price of the cable. If they're in great condition, I'd post some close-up pictures of them. It should be fairly easy to tell the condition because most of them have some paint chips after some use. Best of luck with the sale.

I'm re-listing them without the cable and with a bunch of new closeup photographs. Have a look. I'm interested in (most of) your opinions.

Hey Kevin are you willing to ship to australia?

If you will pay the actual shipping costs I will ship internationally.

I checked USPS Priority mail and the cost would be $56. Its much more time consuming for me (I will need to stand in line at the post office as opposed to handing the box to the mailman) but I will ship it to you.

I just realized you were responding to my older post with the Cardas cable. The HD650s have been re-listed without the cable here:
