I'm interested in picking up a Gamma 2 DAC. Looking to pay $250-$300 depending on case and configuration. Let me know if you have one that you want to move!

PM MisterX, I think he sell it for less than $300 shipped.

$350+ shipping from MisterX. I don't particularly need a Full++ Gamma 1 configuration or the nice case. Just seeing what options there are before ordering from him. Thanks for the idea though.

Sorry, totally forget the price I paid last year.

Hi,

I have one extra gamma1+2 in full++ configuration. Gamma-1 is built using 470uF Panasonic ECA0JAM471X audio caps so you can drive headphones directly with it. Gamma-2 is built using AD8656 and the same caps so you can drive headphones with it too. Gamma-2 does have SRC4192 in place, enclosure is B2-080BK with amb's panels, so everything should be "maxed out".

I have built this personally (you can find my questions etc. from here at DIY forum)

and have used this for few months at work. And that's why I am selling this - it's way too expensive for that and I have equivalent equipment at home already. Please see high-res pictures to verify my solderwork (do not have pictures from bottom side, please ask should you require photos):

Unfortunately I am located at Finland so shipping this probably would take a while and perhaps you need to pay customs or something (of course I can mark this as gift, if it helps). I'll sell this for USD 300 including shipping as uninsuranced small packet. If you want insurance, it will cost more - local post in Finland does rip people off :( I can receive money via PayPal, but I'll need to check how much it does cost for me first :)

Please send me message if you are interested!

Edit: Output capacitors in gamma-2 (C19, C25) are in place unlike in pictures - was experimenting how they do affect sound when took those pcitures (did not hear any difference).

Best regards,
