I have a pair of JVC HA-NCX77 iems that I really like. I bought them on clearence and didn't expect much from them, but the sound quality blew me away. I really love these iems, but the problem is they have a very annoying noise cancelling feature (which I never use) that puts a bulky "thing" in the middle of the cable that houses the noise cancelling circuit and battery. If its possible, I would like to have these iems recabled and completely cut that "thing" out. I would still like the angle jack too. If any one thinks they could do this, please drop me a pm, or offer suggestions below. It it's not possible, it might be possible to just cut the cable right above the box and reterminate it with a jack. Thanks.

I applaud you for finding a ridiculously obscure post by me, so I'll help you. You can easily cut the section above the box and reterminate it with a right angle plug like http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=092-333&vReviewShow=1&vReviewRand=3453403. It'd be laughable for someone to ask money for this.
