looking for I pod extension wire to allow hand held use with docks

Does such a cable exist that would click into the male dock pins of a Ampora or  Ipod docking device extend a couple of feet and click to the female receptor of the ipod itself???

 

 

I am getting the I  pad and plan to use the camera port to allow usb into my headroom desk top portable.   I think a direct conection will cause too much strain for portable use so this wire would help!

Wait so... not a mini to mini extension cable? Or a connector to plug the dock port into?
