Can you recommend to me the single most comfortable, can't-even-tell-you're-wearing-them pair?

Portables, clip-ons, canalphones or earbuds, I don't really mind, as long as they're comfortable enough to wear for hours without being irritating. I apologize for registering just to ask a question, but it'd be really appreciated.

denon d1001. you wont notice them after a couple of songs

portables: Koss Portapro, Clip-ons: Koss KSC 75, IEMS: customs, universals you have to try them yourself to see. Just my opinion

I find that the DBA-02's are extremely comfortable for being universals as are the SBA-01's. However, nothing beats the comfort of customs like the UE-10 or JH-13.

I did find the Klipsch X10 to be the most comfortable IEMs I've ever worn with their ovoid tips.

westone um3x won't disappaer, but i find them infinitely comfortable. the AT ck10 is tiny, and you can definitely forget you're wearing them

x2 for IEMs; Senn PX100 for portable headphones.

Westone 2s are really comfortable; sometimes I forget that I'm wearing them.

IEM's wise, it's got to be Phonak PFE's for me.  However, they're reportedly not such a great fit for everyone, so there's bit of a risk there.

Or for portable headphones, PX100, HD228/238 or Portapros.

Klipsch S4's are very very comfortable

For IEM's I have great success with my Monster Turbine Pro's (have to play with tips to get the right one for you, deeper insertion than IE8, due to design have to get used to fitting them which took me about a week), I liked my Sennhieser IE8 as well (shallow insertion using single flange tips, easy to set in ear due to design).

Portables: I also liked the comfort of the Sennheiser PX100.

Westones are one of the best, outside of customs. The cable and shape of the body (save the Westone 3s) lends itself to comfort. Slap Shure Olives, and you're ready to rock.
