Buckethead

Anyone been listening to Buckethead lately?

There's a message on his website that doesn't sound too good:  bucketheadland.com

I think now would be a great time to show support for the man, maybe his performing days are over?

If you've never heard of him, I advise you to check out the following albums.  I GUARANTEE you will not be dissapointed, and will be in for one of the wildest musical rides that ever existed.

Electric Tears

Population Override

Colma

Peppers Ghost

Decoding the Tombs of Bansheebot

Dragons of Eden

Chinese Democracy (GNR - Bucket is the star here, without a doubt)

Giant Robot NTT - this is a free download - www.megaupload.com/?d=NJVSTWSS

There's over 100 (yes, over one hundred) more albums to choose from, but those will get you started.

Did anyone have a listen to those albums I listed?

If not, you're missing out.  Seriously.

It's been revealed that Bucket is having major medical problems at the moment and his guitar playing days might be over.  Now is the perfect time to navigate his huge discography.

I saw a Lady Gaga thread on the front page, so in the interests of humanity I'm going to bump this.

Bump.

 Lady Gaga, in my head-fi?

But seriously, go listen to Nottingham Lace/Soothsayer/The Fairy and the Devil back to back and over and over again. It will kick you into another world.

Speaking of Soothsayer, that piece was what made me a fan in the first place.

A live version in particular, this one:   http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5V67VSHH

Check it out :)
