Differences in the ibasso range?

Which is the best to use as a portable amp via LOD 

& 

then as a dac/amp from my mac to headphones

& 

if i wanted to mac>ibasso as DAC>amp>phones 

 

am i correct in saying the d2 does this?

got this quote from the ibasso webpage

"Works as a DAC+AMP Combo, a standalone AMP, or standalone DAC (Line out function) "

 

so i could do :

Ipod > LOD > ibasso > phones

Imac > Ibasso > phones

Imac > ibasso (line out) > full sized amp > phones 

 

EDIT: 

 

The ibasso d4 is the same as this? 

just better quality?
& is the d4 worth the cost?
