Maverick D1 DAC with integrated amp

I can put pics up later, but wanted to gauge some interest. Maybe looking at $170 shipped. It's the older model which has the analog outputs on the back. Also has a JAN GE 5670 tube in it, which really softens it up. Anyone interested?

Due to a few requests, I've added pictures!

If you haven't seen a lot of this amp, here is the product page. Furthermore here is a link to the main discussion forum. This dac and amp has been a heated topic of discussion, and at the time I purchased it, Grant Fidelity was selling it for over $400, calling it one of their best bargains! Great quality dac and amp, if you haven't had a dac at all, or you had a low quality one, this will definitely open your eyes.

Included are the power cord, a usb cable, and a 3.5mm to 2xRCA cable. For $30 extra I'll include the YYW interconnect you see at the bottom. Great quality!

Hi there. Looking at the D1 and A1 combo to get the "Synergy" the few reviewers whom have auditioned that combination are talking about. Also have some Grado 225's in the mail which I plan to use with this hypothetical system. I can get the new D1 with the upgraded tubes, shipped for $234. In my position, would be purchase your unit or the new one? Have there really been that many revisions other than the gain? Also, is it possible to adjust said gain with some dip switches, or do I need to solder some resistors? Thank you for my newbish questions. As I am, in fact, a newb.

Alex
