IC: a week old Ultimate Ear Triple.Fi 10 Pro with Null-Audio Enyo (EU)

I used them since the 6th of May, got them here on head-fi for a price far different from the one that was on Amazon.

The Null-Audio Enyo cable is about one year old, it's the shorter version.

One of the insulations on the original UE cable went out of the plastic housing.

The aluminum box has a light dent (you can't feel, it's only visible in bright light) made from inside (it was already there when I bought it).

The rest is like new.

Damn, I would have loved that cable.

May I ask for your opinion of the cable? SQ, comfort and durability?

Saw the post about TripleFis with Enyo cable and wanted to comment.

I am listening to my TripleFis with my new Null Audio Enyo Silver cable with Viablue plug.

I am VERY, VERY happy with my decision to spend $120 on this cable.

Briefly: The sound is MUCH less veiled in vocals and highs. The seperation is more apparent than before (increased seperation), the sound is more accurate, yet more relaxed. The bass has more slam without muddyness.

I have my modded D5000s (Jmoney pads, twisted cables Vortex, furutech) sitting on the hanger today as I work as I am really enjoying the new sound of my Triples. It is like going up a couple levels in a product line of HPs and realizng what you were missing before.

Hope that helps...

Oh yeah. Comfort.

These cables feel like noting. Absolutely nothing compared to the stock cables. At first it is scary when yo get them as they look so fragile but when you put the thin ear guides on and hang the cable you realize just how uncomfortable the stock cables are. These are very light, easy to set in postion, easy on the back of your ears, and not microphonic.

Thank you very much for answering DannyBuoy.

What you describes resembles more or less what I experienced with the Moon Silver Dragon and HD650's.

I took a look at their website and looked up a bit on HF here, and now with your impressions I'm going to order one.

I'll go for the Lune version with nylon sleeving though.

Thanks!
