IC/FS: Modded SR225, Modded Dt880/600 and D2000

Hi all,

I have been thinking of selling 2 of my 3 headphones to raise money for a monitor purchase eventually.

So, up for sale are the following:

Beyerdynamic DT880 600 ohm Manufaktur recabled with headphile Black-Gold (2m) with solid black ebony splitters and balanced with Neutrk HD connectors. They also include a dual XLR to 1/4" adapter for single ended. They sound great and are in excellent condition, bought a while back from a fellow headfier. They come with red and black leather pads (the ones with holes in the back!). I have also ordered a pair of velour pads for them which I can include if asked. These sound amazing, with a neutral signature, wide soundstage and much tighter bass response than original (and also extend deeper - at least to my perception).

Grado SR225 with dynamat driver mod, hand crafted mahogany wood cups, Cardas cable 5 feet long, Grado RS-1 leather headband. Tighter bass response, bit wider soundstage. Sounding really sweet and looking beautiful!

Stock Denon D2000 in mint condition with box; has a very small flaw on the cable (only cosmetic at the exterior, not affecing sound in any way).

I also have a Little Dot MK V in mint condition with no scratches or anything, willing to sell if I first sell the 880/600; otherwise I will be keeping it if I sell the other two headphones first, to complement my 880 (I know it's cheap considering the phones cost multiple times its value, but I find their combination decent enough..).

PM me with offers; I am looking to get around 340e obo for the 880, 260e obo for the grado and 200e for the denon. 140e for the LD MK V if anyone's interested (but I will post it seperately later in the amp section if I sell it eventually).

I live in Europe and am paypal verified. Willing to ship worldwide if you agree to the shipping costs (around 30-45e for sending sth in the US).

Thanks for looking!

ps> pics later in the evening!

Interested in the DT's. Am also new to this forum, however I have years of ebay/sound on sound transactions under my belt. Will post offer after I see the pictures. Uk based and paypal verified, so potentially an easy transaction.

1/0: Sounds great, should be an easy transaction indeed if we reach a deal. I am currently at work (glimpsing at headfi every now and then :) ) so pics will be taken and uploaded later when I get home.

asanyuceer: Yes, e stands for Euro, but alt+ctrl+E wouldn't make it appear!

Roughly how many hours on the 880's between yourself and the previous owner mate? Not an issue per se, they look good; just curious.

PM to follow tomorrow about the serious stuff...

I would guess I ve spent 20-30 hours max with them since i got them.. A little more for the grados, and 5-10 hrs with the denons which came a few days ago!

I was the previous owner and only used them for about 40 hours. Regret selling them after realising that buying velour pads would make them sound wonderful (leather earpads sound too bassy with the DT880 imo). If you are even remotely thinking about buying the DT880, you should definitely get these ones heart

Weekend Bump.

The Grado is MUCH more beautiful; the picture does no justice to the wood cups!

The denon is in excellent condition too, has less than 80 hours on it.. Shoot me some offers!

The MK V is also up for sale, I'll post an ad to the amp forum soon :)
