Hey, Since Elrod-Tom stole all the "best" categories, lets try this one. Since I would prefer not to be the one who selects these unfortunate individuals and puts them in a poll, just list your own preferences, in this format please:

Okay, maybe it wasnt such a great idea. Hey, Elrod-Tom and his onslaught of BEST polls took all the GOOD stuff!

Anyway, Britney Spears would have worst vocalist locked up, period. Okay, maybe with Dee Snider in second, and Yoko Ono. And Mickey Dolenz for worst drummer.

No way...Yo Yo takes the cake on that one.

Worst guitar player...Neil Schon of Journey. I know he's somewhat talented, but all those dumb faces that he makes just bug me.

Worst drummer...I hate to say it, but my boy Ringo is pretty bad.

Worst bass player...who knows?

Worst songwriter...man, there are a ton of them!!

I also would like to nominate Davey Jones as worst player of an extraneous instrument (the tamborine).

BTW - as bad as Britney Spears is, she has some redeming qualities. She's certainly easy on the eyes.

ok I'm putting some thought into this one.

Singer: Cher/Madonna - today's technology still cannot cure the sound of a man-ish sounding cougar (Madonna came close with Hollywood though.)
Guitar: seriously the guy from Boston
Bass: Pino whatshisname of Paul Young fame - think "Every Time You Go" goofy **** effects
Drums: early Alan White of Oasis - he's better now, but man he had one trick and used it everywhere. This guy could 'brrr ump bump bump bump' through Eleanor Rigby. Otherwise Lenny Kravitz - minimalist done wrong (see early albums)
Producer: Jeff Lynne (I'm not into the falsetto background singers and annoying harmonies)
Songwriters: Jon Davis/Fred Durst - how can these geezers still genuinely write about teen angst

The worst singer would be hard to find. There's this girl at my school who me and my peers all hate. She has a HORRIBLE voice, and it's unbelievably painful and annoying to listen to. And she feels the need to pop sing everything all the time.

In terms of stars, Britney Spears is pretty horrible.

WORST SINGER: Gotta go with Madonna here, if I ever hear "Like a Sturgeon" one more time I'll vomit. It's bad when you have to lick a guy's butt and kiss other women in order to sell albums...
WORST GUITARIST: Steve Morse, sometimes playing the right notes matters more than just playing every note on the fret board, unfortunately Steve never learned this.
WORST DRUMMER: I'm passing on this one.
WORST BASS PLAYER: Billy Sheehan, all that technique and not a shred of talent.

I could care less about Madonna, but I sure hope you're being sarcastic about Steve Morse and Bill Sheehan.

That's probably true, but I've always hated Santana (and all those other "fusion" rock bands), so poor Dave is guilty by association. Besides I had to pick somebody didn't I?
