Wire stiffness, general comfort

Hi everyone,

I've purchased in the last 4 months 2 pairs of earphones.
I have 1 pair of Shure SE115 and the other are m-audio IE-10.

The Shures are somewhat comfortable with the foam tips, but the stiffness of the wires makes it so that I always have one of the two sides brushing up on my face and I find this really annoying.

I thought that the metal "guide" in the m-audio would minimize this, but it does pretty much the same thing and on top of that, one of the sides pops out if i move my head.

Is there another brand for which the wires are smoother? Or is there a trick to make the wires on the Shure fall more naturally?

thanks

Westone cables are the most comfortable I have ever used, as well as having almost NO microphonics.

Seconding Westone. The cables are, imho, second to none.

The best cables that i've ever experienced were the ones on the Sennheiser IE8 (super lightweight, zero microphonics, non-sticky) and the Westone UM3X.

Westone recommendation no. 4
