Rotary AC power on/off switch for a dac?

I will be building a Buffalo DAC in which I want to have a rotary switch as the AC mains power on/off switch.

I’ve been looking for a quality switch that can handle 230V, with 2 poles and 2 positions (on/off), 90degree index angle, flat shaft for custom knob, but I haven’t been able to find anything..

Would someone here happen to know of such a switch, maybe guide me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Martin

Why don;t you use a relay based one. Then you can use a cheap lorlin or something of that sort.

Yes a relay would be preferable. I haven't seen a rotary switch capable of handling that kind of power - although I'm sure they exist, they're probably not easy to find.

With a relay you could use any cheap rotary to activate the relay, if you really want a rotary instead of a pushbutton.
