Happy Mother's Day to all who took on the responsibilities of Motherhood.

You could have walked away, given up or worse but you didn't. Instead, you took God's gift to mankind and nourished it, protected it, taught it, kept it fit, put it in your heart and it was good.

Whatever we (as children) do, we cannot deny the efforts of our mother's love. We crave it more than any love in our lives. They do angelic work for another sacrificing health, personal glory, financial independence, popularity and any other options open to a person without responsibilities of motherhood. They give to us and take from no one, created by their desire to succeed in our survival.

Of any task in this world, motherhood is the hardest. For not only do you raise children but you are a wife to a man, a co-producer of provisions or are the sole provider. You put up with a world that treats women like slaves. In some countries even the animals are of more importance than women. Thank God for the passion of motherhood. If not for it, I shudder to think of where the world would be today.

Thank you mom(s) for your sacrifices and tiring work to give me a chance to survive. Your memories will sustain me through life and your values will be passed on from your children to theirs, making our world better for it. I will be a testament to your work and a bearer of your life's accomplishments to the world.
