It's funny. I'm annoyed by just about everything you all are mentioning. The one thing I haven't noticed though is slow-down. Load times seem pretty snappy to me so it must be at least a little platform dependent. Using Windows 7, Firefox 3.6.3.

Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...

I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...

Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...

I never thought it was possible for such rich sound from a headphone. Simply amazing headphones.

When I first put them on on I though that the highs will blow my head off. My ears got tired after 10 - 15 minutes. I though I would throw them out of the window. But having read some good...

Wow ... I pretty much second what Towert has said above. ( Except the statement about being smart ) LOL
The new forum is waaaay harder to navigate, and not nearly as fun. It doesn't make a lot of sense how it is laid out. The adds and suggestions are VERY disctracting, and on my computer, the site is now slower.
I truly feel it was a HUGE step backwards, and feel you will now lose current members, and that you will have trouble gaining new members as well.

You know, I'm actually starting to find the new forum faster to navigate via My Profile tab to an extent.

x1000, if you embrace the change and just start trying to work with it you will find its really not THAT hard to get around. Use an updated browser, I am sad some of you are experiencing such long load times but I for one am of the camp where the site now loads 10x faster, maybe your internet or computer is just slow?

Loading time is the same for me as it was before.
Edit: Did I say faster? I really should say I feel a bit more like I'm flying through the forum. xD

It isn't that simple for everyone. I'm usually out of the house from 8AM to midnight-1AM most days. Work keeps me late and when I do get some downtime, it's usually over a beer at a bar. I always have the iPhone handy and sometimes have the iPad. The laptop tends to be left at home because the places I hang at don't have WiFi. So 3G is my only route of access. The site went from being a little slower than I like to very, very slow with the upgrade. I don't know if that can be fixed, but most of the time I'm able to go online, this is unacceptably slow. If I have some free time at home (which is rare), then I could use the laptop or desktop to get online. But that would be a couple of times a month maybe. I'll keep an eye on potential mobile upgrades here and will make an effort to check in here and there, but the speed and clunky interface will keep me from spending much time here. It makes me sad, but I'll probably end up spending more time at other communities.
I've pretty much been a lurker, running across and enjoying your comments now and then. Cutting back on your commentary would be a loss but its understandable given the circumstances.

I'm closing this thread. There is a place for constructive feedback, and there are a few open threads already for folks who just want to expresses their views about the new format. This thread is a jumble of both, and not necessary.
