FS: Beyerdynamic DT880s 600 ohms

Hello Head-fi

For sale is a pair of old-style Beyerdynamic DT880s, in 600 ohm impedance. They are in OK condition considering their age. Please note that the grills are anodized a pinkish/grey color. They have a dent in the aluminum grill on the left earcup and the plug is a gold plated plug (not likely the original). The pads are in very good shape.

I would like $125 including shipping and paypal in the USA for these.

Woah! How old are these? And how do they sound in comparison to the current DT880 600ohms(if possible)?

Im not exactly sure how old these are. According to wikiphonia this style was last made in 1985, so somewhere between 25 and 30 years old.

I dont have the current DT880/600. I do have DT880/250. These have a little more treble, but still outstanding bass and midrange detail.

OOH!

I forgot to mention in the OP, I have a 100-ohm cable for these, which is how I prefer to listen to them. If anyone wants it its another $20.

Fixed my guess at age.

These are vintage phones and for the price I don't think you can beat the deal; I have a pair myself. From personal experience, they are more airy then the modern DT880/600.
