I am getting a moderation message when I post. This started happening after the new site design. I was able to post before. How come new members can post?

Welcome to head-fi. Sorry about your wallet .

Go to the Portable headphones forum to get some info on in ear phones like the skullcandies, or if you want large full size headphones go to the full size forum.

If you liked the general sound of the skullcandies (i.e. lots of bass) go for something like the Monster Turbines. They sell for ~$90.

no worries, i'll live. keeping my ears alive with some sony ex headphones i got for pretty cheap.

@semisight where did you find them for ~$90? most places have them for the $179 price

Google Products! I use it a lot.

$85 (used) from B&H shipped, seems good to me.

Then around $100 otherwise, hmm maybe I underestimated the cost. IMO you'll like them, so it's worth the extra $$. But then if you're willing to go to $110 you could also get the Panasonic HJE900 or Klipsch Custom 3, another two good phones. You should really ask this again in the portables forum.

Wait, don't skullcandy headphones have lifetime warranties? Claim the warranty, sell the unopened headphones, get more money to splurge! indecision
