iPod LOD with the USB cable?

Has anyone else tried making an iPod LOD with the data transfer cable? I think it should work as the USB has 4 pins, 2 for data and 2 for power. I just want to ask some more experienced people before I cut up my cable.

Should be possible. Have you tried doing a search for ipod lod threads? I think I saw one with a pic of a simple lod with usb.

Use google though.

You can buy it off retail - sendstation.

Not worth the effort unless you do it for fun side project.
