Null-Audio Horrible Customer Service. BEWARE! - Page 2

I think we're so used to buying something and having it shipped straight away that we aren't prepared to deal with 1- or 2-person companies that build everything only after purchase.  I know if you want one of the high-end Eddie Current or Headamp amplifiers, for instance, you have to wait months after putting down a (refundable) deposit for them to be built and there will be little communication.  It's fair enough to not purchase gear from vendors where one would be unhappy about the delay though.

^Definitely true. When I used to skim sites that sold desktop amps that were built for you when you ordered, I saw wait times of around a month or so. I agree; I think we are somewhat spoiled with the whole buying and receiving something within that week or the next at the latest.

I don't mind waiting so much if my expectations are properly managed with good communication. When I send a payment for something, I expect a timely acknowledgment of my order status, and updates if anything changes. When I don't get that, I get frustrated

While I understand your point, I don't believe that's what happened here.

When I bought my Woo Audio 6, I knew from the get go the length my order would take, and while it did take long, it was delivered on time, as promised.

The fact here isn't poor communication, I always got responses within hours (As I said, don't email them direct from Gmail, use their site's Contact Us form) but rather, just shoddy service.

If I return my headphones with a problem, and the "fix" you put in place can't even last the ride back to me, then how will it ever survive daily use in my pocket? Believe me, I take care of my headphones, but I walk around with my iPod in my pocket, and the headphones in my ear. I can't stop my walking motions, which would have sooner or later "broken" the fix.

Then it's the exact words "We will ship it next week" and "Will arrive in 5-7 business days" which actually meant "We will only ship it when we receive the faulty cable from you", for the former, and 2-3 weeks for the latter.

Again, I'm okay with waiting, but there is a difference between waiting, and wasting my time. To boot, this is my only set of cales for these headphones, so I was 3-4 months without headphones. :/

Hey my old Enyo cable just returned and fixed it is too. Now I got two Enyo's.  I'm more forgiving now, though it still all about to be very patient, which isn't fair. From now I will use that contact usform. Null audio is still going very silent as I can tell.

Edit: hmm the other way gave me a reply finally but I had to wait 12 days.

I just asked him that I would like to see faster response and also said by the way thanks for the cables. He said following:

"Yes I will definitely work to improve on that. Kevin"

Same problem with a pair I just repaired...IMO the wire used is too thin for the designed use. I'd go with 26 gauge. The silver is too fragile (even stranded) to be handled daily. AND the jack sucks. Ask me how I know.

Yea the Lune cables are very, very thin. I was very careful with mine and always put them in the UE case but I could see them breaking after a year or two of daily usage.

As the Enyo cables are cheaper, are they even worse, durability-wise?

i think this guy does this to every as i only ordered a load of pailiccs and viablue 3.5mm jacks off him (6 of each) and this was 2 weeks ago now and iv also send him several messages through his site and have heard nothing back from him and its not like he actually has to make these when he receives the order so i dont see the reason he cant have shipped these out yet or why he cant reply to messages from customers. this has to be the worst service iv ever received.

sorry for posting in an old post but just wanted to get this off my chest
