Is there an App we/you need related to Head-Fi?

Hi all
I'm currently start a company with my engineer buddy with focus on cross-platform programs/App's (think web, social and mobile platforms mainly). We are engineer [students] so developing back-ends for server storage/sync across platforms is just fun stuff. In the long run we think games would be fun. We already won/was selected by Nokia for a “launchpad membership” for what we told them and in a national VentureCup competition so in the long run this might be what makes my bread. Wouldn’t mind going indie so fine with me ;)

Do you think we need a program/App? - in a Head-Fi environment point of view? Or put another way: do you need something turned into an App that other people could benefit from? - If we think its feasible to do, or prototype, quickly we will develop it and make it for free for members here at Head-Fi but also most likely for everyone. At least on Android where many can’t still buy App’s and we currently can't sell. So much for Google Denmark...

We are also starting a profile on www.kickstarter.com also for larger projects of the “short term” type that we wouldn't consider other wise since.

Platforms will be Android, Apple, Nokia and browser/Internet based in the first run. We are looking into BlackBerry but their development app store stuff is expensive and we don’t got a high-end BB to test on yet. We are pretty much done with setting up so first prototypes of stuff, website and our Facebook (I'm "FINALLY" on their according to my F&F O_o) is expected late June or something in that order.

BTW when we have gotten our graphics done some day soon visit: Bitlings

If you haven't already, have a look at Digg.com's iphone app - it's essentially a dedicated RSS feed based around user submissions. Obviously, if you're looking to specifically brand it as a Head-Fi app, you have some correspondence with Jude to deal with, but an application that ties in with the actual site would make for a great alternative to mobile browsing.

Thanks. While it would be interesting to do a Head-Fi "brand" App thats not what we are looking for.
