IMO, I prefer the aluminium look, but these are awesome. Might even sound good too :)

^^ Not exactly the same as the Ruthenium version, the leather pads are in brown.

gorgeous.  i wonder what type of rare wood it is (if it is even wood at all), knowing ultrasone with their "ethiopian goat leather", im curious.

lol he's saying that he's holding #1 of 888 in his hands. Lucky him. I like the special edition - looks a lot more posh and luxury before, I'm not a huge fan of the minimalist all metal designs these days, it seems like Apple and others have that all covered already...

apple doesnt use ruthenium, or ethiopian goat leather.

 

i love the wooden accents, but i think the standard edition 8's are at the very top of the chain as far as posh and luxury is concerned.
