So who's watching it, I just checked it out,...pretty neat, I'm hoping to get some cool shots from it.

I must confess, I never understood the attraction of a lunar eclipse. Solar eclipses, sure -- I've travelled across the globe to see those, but lunar eclipses? What's the attraction?

I looked up and got snow in my eyes. I might take the dog out again in a few minutes and see if the clouds have cleared ,

The skies are crystal clear. The attraction is that the moon is blood red!

Well, I made sure to buy my lotto tickets at exactly 6:18 AZ time. All I had were my 16x50 binoculars. It still looked spectacular.

the solar eclipse occurs Nov. 23 3:40pm MST http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclips...3/TSE2003.html
Very little chance anyone will be able to see it.

You aren't serious, are you??

Again, I had to miss out on beautiful night sky events because Chicago is once again overcast. Aurora borealis, lunar eclipse... I'm glad I'm going to be in nagasaki in about 3 days so I don't have to miss out on the sun going supernova (a joke, to be sure).

It's cloudy where I am. Does not look too impressive behind all those clouds.

It was pretty clear in Nashville. We watched it for about an hour and a half. At times you could almost see the shadow move. The city lights obscured the view somewhat, but I'm really glad I took the time to smell the astronomical roses.

I missed it.

There is always a next time. Lunar eclipses are much more common than solar eclipses (don't remember the exact frequency of occurance in a given location, wasn't paying attention in class).
