New Forum Confusion - Page 2

This new layout takes some getting used to, at least with navigation.

It needs work, that's for sure, however, what's the deal with these crashing threads? The thread with the poll asking people if they want the old layout back seems to be bugged already. I've run into a couple more like that but I cannot remember which ones. I think that's a bit more serious than the GUI's user-friendliness.

How do I remove my signature from my posts without erasing it in my profile.

Go to your profile and scroll down to the bottom. smiley

indeed, I tried it and gave up...google with site:www.head-fi.org was far more efficient.

I was searching the for sale threads... I wanted to remove results with the phrase "wtb" in the title but I couldn't figure out how?

I still seem to be having problems with subscriptions showing up.

I click on my Home tab, and I have not seen any new subscription activity, which is very strange, because this thread (which I am subscribed to) went from 2 posts to 19........ but it didn't show up for me.

The number of characters allowed for your 'signature' is severely limited.

I find myself using other sites more, since I find this one too difficult to navigate,

unengaging and confusing.

It would seem that subscriptions do NOT work for me.

When I went to bed, I was the only one who posted in this thread.  I clicked on the home tab this morning, and saw no subscription activity.  I manually found my post, and noticed there were new posts in it.

I'm not sure why subscriptions do NOT work for me.

I am using firefox 2.0.0.8.

The only thing I ever see is the message: "We couldn't find any subscription activity. Try adding stuff to your list!"

Argh! this new look is doing my head in.

We typically have around 2k users at any given time. Since the change the average is under 1.5k.

Where are the groups? I don't really know if I like the redesign. I think not, though.

And where's the 'forum jump' menu!? That's such an essential function!

Top left, beside Forum Nav, look for More Forums submenu.

Thanks, azncookiecutter, I was just about to post that.  (It's at bottom-left, too.)

Another confusion that I had was with subscriptions.  I wasn't seeing any subscriptions.     I realized a day or two ago that the 'forum' button wasn't selected.  The 4 options (forum being one of them) didn't appear like options to me.  I don't know what they looked like, but I naturally ignored them.  They didn't look important.

I wonder if I'm the only one that this has happened to.
