FS: my seat on current Balancing Act pre-order list

It may be a foolish decision, but I am pulling out of the pre-order for BA (I am on the current batch shipping shortly). The reason is called Stax, you can read more here: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/223263/the-stax-thread-new/13200#post_6613053 . This is probably a mistake, but I can't afford both at this time, lucky you...

The amp is still in Craig's hands and this post is about transferring ownership to a new buyer. I have made all the pre-payments to Craig, you can confirm with him.

Here is my configuration, it's pretty ultimate and cannot be changed at all at this late build stage:

• BA base price: $3500
• Alps RK-50 (RK50112A0004, bought direct from Alps Japan, you can confirm with Craig): $415
• PSS transformer: $200
• KR PX4, 1 pair: $630

I also bought some spare tubes, which I'd like to sell as a bundle with the amp:

• Fully Tested NOS Pair 6SN7 6SN7GTB Silvertone (bought from VTS,Llc. on ebay): $50 + shipping from Tokyo / insured
• 1 platinum low noise tube) 6SN7GTA Sylvania "chrome top" used/like new, branded Silvertone white printing 1954 (10ma / 10ma) (bought from Tube World Inc.): $65 + shipping from Tokyo / insured
• 1 low noise tube) 6SN7GTB Sylvania chrome top SILVERTONE red printing 1955 used/like new, short bottle, same size as GTA (8.8ma/9.3ma) (bought from Tube World Inc.): $65 + shipping from Tokyo / insured
• KENRAD JAN-6SN7GT VT-231 6SN7 BLACK GLASS MATCHED PAIR (bought from cfan4 on ebay): $125 + shipping from Tokyo / insured

The total I am asking (to be paid by Paypal on my US account, net amount after any paypal fees):

• Deposit amount: $1700 (you can confirm with Craig that I paid this deposit, you will need to send the complement to Craig when the amp ships)
• KR PX4 payment: $630 (you can confirm with Craig that I made the payment to him)
• Alps RK-50: $415 (you can confirm with Craig that the gang is in his possession)
• Spare tubes: $305 + $45 shipping from Tokyo / EMS / insured
• Total: $3,095

I won't be negociating the price as you are:

1. getting a chance to skip the 9-16+ months of waiting people have had to do on this amp
2. getting a good price on the RK-50 potentiometer as I am selling at raw cost from Japan while the price is higher when going through traditional channels in the US
3. skipping the hassle of tube hunting on ebay (these particular tubes were recommended to me by Craig)

No problem posting here for now. Apart from the tubes, you're ok with the rest? I have another person interested and will check if he wants the tubes. But anyhow, I could also hold on to them as value will just keep going up... And who knows, I might get back to the BA in the future ;)

That's correct for my part although it should be net amount after any fees (don't remember what they might be though). I have a US verified paypal (maybe premier account). I will check later and let you know.

For Craig, you may want to include spare tubes for the power supply (I think it's no more than $15 a tube or something). And I think you'd also need to add shipping cost.

I will hold on the tubes for now so I am ok to proceed with you. I have checked paypal fees now and it's 2.9% so it makes the total $2,825. I will send you my paypal address by PM once I get your approval. I will then notify Craig once the funds have cleared my paypal account.
