Hey all, up for sale are a used pair of Denon D2000s. They've seen quite a bit of use in the last few years I've owned them, and have seen about ~200 hours of head time total. No mods have been done to them, but I have secured/threadlocked the screws that lock the cans in; it's a known issue that these do unscrew themselves and eventually fall off of their brackets, even with light use. Since securing them, they haven't showed signs of ever falling/loosening out, and I'm confident they never will again.
Now, externally/aesthetically, they unfortunately aren't in the greatest shape, so I've taken pics of all the parts of concern below. Sonically, however, they're perfect, and have been kept in a pet-free, non-smoking home. So whether you're looking to salvage some parts and/or buy them as a great-sounding beater headphone, they'll do the job just fine. Anyway, on to the pics, click on them to enlarge:
