Rockbox and ipod speakers - does it work?

Well, I did a search and could find no threads specifically on this.  I have an ipod click wheel that I am going to rockbox but was concerned whether or not it would stop the ipod working with my logitech purefi anywhere 2 portable speaker.  Anyone who has done this and found success or will it stop the ipod communicating with the unit?

I don't know specifically about that portable speaker.  If it's got an amp in it, it's really no different that taking a LOD into an amp into a HP and that works fine on a 80GB video rockbox, even imodded.

Well, tried it out.  Rockboxed my fourth gen. ipod and it does work in the speaker, however the remote no longer works!  Real shame.  Must only be able to function with the ipod software.  Bugger.
