Apparently there were no birthday wishes last year from Happy Camper.

You should just revive threads from back in time to at least give a few people their birthday wishes. It wasn't hard to go back that far, I just had to click the next button 94.5 times[jk, I cheated].

Forum management has for a long time regarded birthday wishes as some sort of favoritism and specialness.  This is now reflected in the elimination of the list of today's birthdays.  It's the same kind of central control that is now being resurrected in Washington.  And warmth, civility and friendship become the usual victims.
