After two unsuccessful bids on HP2s, I decided to pull the trigger on the Grado PS-1000. I just have to know what this headphone sounds like. I already have an HD800, which is the best headphone I've ever owned, but I just got a deal on a brand-new PS1k and I've decided to take it.
After these arrive (and I've written my review of them), if I still think my HD800s need no help, I'm going to share the wealth and let the PS1k go for the same price I paid. Flippers need not apply. These are expensive cans but if you've got a craving to hear them for yourself, I can give somebody the same deal I got - provided that person is willing to give somebody else the same deal down the road.
