Again, calling on the fine DIY'er here for this task, if it is possible.
I'm looking for an alternative to my stock HD25 cables. I am not looking for anything fancy at all and this is not really for sound purposes, but rather for having a more wieldy cable and being able to wear HD25 earcups downwards so I don't expose the connectors to the elements when I wear it in bad weather conditions (which is what I exclusively use it for). I know I could probably find a HD600 cable for this, but they're probably too long for portable use (but I'd probably take a reterminated shorter HD600/650 cable as well).
Here's what I am looking at for this particular job:
1) It MUST be terminated with 1/8 plug, and at a right angle. This is for portable purposes only.
2) I would like the cable to be 3 feet and not much longer. Just like the lengths of cables for portable AT cans... I find them a perfect length for my intended use.
3) I'd like this cable to be well protected with a durable covering if possible (again, enough to withstand harsh weather). So no cloth-covered cables or uncovered cables or anything please.
4) I don't need anything special in terms of materials for the conducting wire itself. No fairy dust cryo treated cable needed. Cheaper the better.
Please PM me with offers, preferably with some examples of your work. Thanks in advance.
