Anybody out there like Blink-182? I'm not ashamed to say I love this band. Now, I know many of their songs are sophomoric, over-produced, and not musically sophisticated. If I discovered the albums Take of Your Pants and Jacket and Enema of the State today, I probably wouldn't like them very much. But they remind me of the thoughts and feelings I had as a teenager. And some of the songs (Going Away to College, What's My Age Again, Adam's Song) are clever. I do like their self-titled album the most, as it departs from high-school rock into more serious subjects. The songs alternate between fast and angry and ethereal, with serious lyrics. I Miss You was a big hit, but I still love the lyrics and bassline of that song. And I gotta say I like most of their earlier stuff too, like Buddha and Cheshire Cat. They have a raw, unpolished sound. But I know most people think otherwise about this band
