Headphone Amp For Shure SE530

Thread Starter
After Using a lot about it, today i finally jumped onto the SE530 bandwagon, ordered them from amazon. Could you guys please recommend a good Amp ? I also intend to use the same with my SRH840 which i use for recording/monitoring with my band. My Line 6 Pod X3 Live does a good job of driving them but not exactly portable

I had a great time using the SE530 with the Pico.

They work great with my Total Bithead.  I don't have any other amps to compare it to though.

I've heard mine through:

NuForce uDac (still have)

NuForce Icon Mobile (sold)

FiiO E5 (still have)

RSA Hornet M (sold)

Total Bithead (sold)

Honestly, the differences un-amped, or through any of these amps didn't make much of a difference. You also lose a lot of portability lugging on these around.

I use my Shure E500 with the Hornet M and P-51 Mustang they sound great with both amps.

iBasso also makes some real quality amps.  I use the D2 with my 420's.

Using the portaphile amp along with the ALO 18awg triple pipe cable.  One word - awesome!
