Wave editor that will export Lossless format

Hey, I've been trying to rip some Vinyls onto my laptop, however Audacity doesnt export into a LOSSLESS format, and when i export into a wave it won't convert to LOSSLESS with my other program, and when I export as MP3 its an MP3 (thats a problem).

Any suggestions for a [preferably] free program?

I'm using a MAC.

Are you recording using 24- or 32-bit resolution?
For some reason, FLAC encoder could not encode 24-bit WAV files into flac -format.

Audacity handles Wavs and Aiff just fine, just from a different menu item (save, not export). I personally use Rogue Amoeba's lovely Fission, but you have to pay for it.
