The 2005 edition are the latest (99% sure on that). I would go with the DT990 Premium 600ohm though: Beyerdynamic | DT 990 Premium Open-Back Stereo Studio | 483966

DT990?  Why is it head fi always reccomends at-home open-backed headphones to people who want a dre beats alternative? 

 

If you want to actually go outside B&W p5 will make you happy.

Sony MDR-F1's - the one headphone you can have on your head for hours and not notice its there, 250$ new (around)

Think Monster like Bose has many quality issues with headphones and earphones!!!And is OVERPRICED!
