I got EM! They work, sounds clearer, wider sound stage, can't wait until (at least ONE) of the amps arrives so I can try them out portable.
I have nothing to do with the seller, I'm just trying to help out those of us with walkman S639's and the such where a $135 line out is not feasible.

Can't say for sure, They SHOULD work with any Walkman with the WM port.

my A828 (only 2 years old) works fine with one as does my A845. Of course, the A845 has a pretty bad line out - baaaaad in comparison. If X has a similar quality, it is a shame what Sony sell for the price.

The older ones seem to have good quality outputs.

Great deal IMO - I'd recommend jumping on it ASAP - you never know when the item will be sold out, and the wait for a restock will take (what seems) forever.

hi i order this line out too ,but when i try on my sony x and my amp

whenever the clear bass is set to full  ,when i play certain songs with bass

when the bass kicks in the vocal will become soft and muffled, once the bass goes off the vocal will become clear again

so this make the vocal loud and soft

does anyone encounter this ?

or is the line out i order is spoil  ?

I'm still waiting for mine, so 1 question in the meantime,.....does the volume control still work while connected to the line out on the Sony X Series??? I hope not, since I plan on finally getting a real amp to pair w/a real LOD for my new Sony.

I think the LOD is fine thats just how the clear bass feature works. Its a dynamic equalizer that lowers the high frequencies whenever there is substantial low frequencies to simulate the effect of enhanced bass. So the muffled high's using clear bass setting at max is normal(well maybe not normal, but thats what its supposed to do)
