You'll be lucky if you haven't already damaged the drives from excessive heat.

I fully melted a set of RS-1 drivers trying to get them out of an RS-1.

They were already bonked, I was just curious if I could get them out. Nope.

What I wanted to say with my somewhat ironic post(I tried to mimic your's) was that posting a thread with a caps locked title and little to no info inside, pictures, and whatnot it would be hard to get help!

A good way to ask for help is to describe the situation, objectives and problems if possible using pictures. Being polite helps (and this means punctuation and no bold sentences too).

This said, good luck and share your progress!

I was able to open up my HF-2 without a problem.
The metal will conduct the heat and makes all the glue melt even faster...just make sure you have a towel or something to hold the cup because they get VERY VERY hot.

I even made a thread about this.!

It's been discussed before, not all HF-2 are made the same. Some are assembled with the standard hot glue, which melt easily especially with the metal cup, while other use some kind of epoxy glue where there is nothing much left to do.
Simple test. Once my cup were real hot, I applied some hot glue I had (small scrap from a glue stick) and ....wait for it... it melts ! Which prove that what was used in my HF-2 wasn't the same kind of glue.
Any head-fi member working for Grado could give us some insight on how the remove this sh*t ?
A chance my drivers weren't damaged ! Following the procedure I read on several post, I've been a bit too stubborn in trying to remove the cup. Should have trust my guts seing it didn't work.

Advice for anyone trying to do so : scrap off some glue and do some trial. It should get soften/melt at around 70 degrees celsius. If not, give up.
