Looking for a new wallet...

Anybody know of any good wallets with the following features?
  • A see through portion where you'd insert an ID, but could see from the outside of the wallet without opening it (preferably inserted from inside).
  • Tri-Fold or bi-fold, doesn't matter.
  • Button up would be especially win.
  • I'd prefer something really durable.
  • Priceline about 100$.

I found two, but the prices are low enough to make me concerned with quality...

WalletGear > wallets > wallet accessories > wallet inserts, leather wallets, credit card holders, chain wallets, change purses

Royce Leather Bi-fold Wallets (Case of 2) | Overstock.com

Based on what I've linked to, can anybody help me find some higher quality ones they can reccomend? I need the outside ID holder, (well really not need) because my identification card for work which I keep in my wallet is the single most used thing in my wallet.

That doesn't have an outside window.

I saw these when I was picking up my new wallet. Maybe it's close to what you mean?

Ben Sherman Peekaboo

It's cheap, though.

I love it. Thanks! I think I like the JR better, but I'll look at both.

I ended up ordering the THE simply because it can hold more cards. I'm a bit concerned about it fitting in my pocket... but I guess we'll see.

Got one in Coyote Brown.

By the way, thank you. I knew I could count on head-fi to give me an idea for the best solution. Thing is, that thing NEVER came up in my searches. Definitely had to have been told about it sort of thing.

What happened to your old one? walk out on you after nearly a year of head-fi?

I can't help out on the wallet front but I'm just surprised any head-fi member has any money left over to actually put into a wallet... very odd.

Oh that's okay. The issue has already been resolved. Oddly enough, of the 32 posts so far that castigar has made, 1 of which was one of the coolest things anybody has ever shown me.

Well, if there's one thing I use in my wallet most, it's my badge for work. Second is my credit card. Spend almost 1200$ today, actually.

Granted, 38$ or so of that was the wallet. But no, pretty in charge of my finances lately, especially after my pay raise. 25% pay boost does that to you.

Yea, I'm on the wallet hunt as well. I lost my wallet 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I HAAAATE wallets so I always try to find the most minimalist thing I possibly can that is as thin as humanly possible.

Apparently everyone likes to sit on bricks and have numb cheeks because I always have a heck of a time finding one with these criterion. It took over a year to find the last one.

Amazon has a bunch of rfid blocking wallets, I got the first one on the list about a year ago and it's still like new. Mine doesn't have an ID window but there's a bunch there to choose from. The bonus is that they offer enhanced security, and privacy in today's cyber-crime reality. I may have gotten mine at eBags now that I think of it, it's called the Travelon RFID Blocking Billfold.
