Best IEMs on a Budget? (~150) - Page 2

Too many fakes on ebay, but you can get it from razordogdeals on ebay. You can email him about his invoice from Sennheiser, or just email Sennheiser USA directly. Just try not to buy any Senn from like amazon.uk or/UK ebay sellers. No prejudice here, just from my own experience of getting fake IE8.

If you're spending $150, make it $200, cos' you will have more choices. If you can afford the time, wait for more reviews on DBA-02 to come out.

IE7s are ~100 on eBay. HJE 900 on Amazon for ~110. Those both sound like pretty good prices to me. Which would you guys pick out of those 2?
the 7 are a lot better if you ask me but id not buy a senn off ebay, us$100 is only cheap if they are real

Alright, no Senns on eBay. lol

I'm in no rush for these at all. Like I said, I just bought a pair of portable headphones, and I have to buy a few other things before I even think about new IEMs, too.

I've seen people complaining about durability issue of triplefi 10 - such as sounds stop coming from one piece. How common is that? As a owner, do you find that to be true? Is it easily breakable?

To OP : You might want to put FX500 on your list as well. I'm not in anyway audiophile nor do I know how to describe nature of sounds properly. All I can tell you is, bass is punchy(I could even feel subtle punch), vocal is really good in some songs(such as Christina - You are beautiful), treble is great but for some people it may come across as harsh(Nuttin' But Strings-Violin). I'm also back in the market to get myself one cuz I lost my fx500. I still can't decide between ie7 and fx500. They are about the same price but ie7 seems to have better built quality. All I need is a sound quality comparison between the two so that I can make final decision. Too bad, I still haven't found that comparison yet.
