I'd like to ask what you want??? Sound, music, or additional features??

I use my iTouch as an all around personal assistant--tons of apps that help me keep track of stuff. Plus a few gigs of music just for fun. Store photos there too

Then I have my Nano for music, nothing but music, and couple it with a Tomahawk for true portability.

If you're usig either for just music, I'd go with theNano only because it's easier to pair with a small amp--Nano, Basso T3, etc. If you want additional "goodies" you may want to consider the iTouch ampless then get all the apps available on the iTunes sites

Maybe Ill go with iPod Video 5.5G, since its cheaper than I touch and just a little expensive than iPod Nano 5G 16gb.. So maybe I go for it.. iPod Video got better SQ than Nano and Touch

Yeah, they are right. Your choice will vary depending on what features you would like your Ipod to have. I am happy with the features and quality of my current Ipod, an Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black.

Really depends on your earphones too. The iPod 5,5 doesn't drive earphones as well as the iPod nano, iPod touch 2g~, iPhone 3G~, so you may want to think of that. Do you want to use an amp with the iPod, or no? If so, then you might want to think of the Line Out performance first as HPO performance will be moot to someone who generally uses amps.

i think the best option would be ipod nano+LOD+amplifier and ofcourse with a pair of nice headphones.the truth is i sold my ipod nano 5G as soon as i got it because i was dissapointed by its poor sound quality compare to my iphone 3gs.however,at that time i didn't use LOD and i only tested with my westone's 3 using normal 3.5mm jack.so,maybe if u use LOD on a nano would sound great...maybe the 3gs has better amp so that was why i heard the difference....i wish i had nano again to test! (however the sound chip is different from nano and 3gs....the second's,is more advanced i think)
using amplifiers, can be a pain in the ass to find the best mp3 player to work with....

I use my UE18s straight out of my 80GB 5.5G, and its really not too bad at all.
