Up for sale is a pair of DIY headphones built by our resident expert DIYer jageur272.
These use the widely acclaimed SFI 120 Ohm planar orthodynamic drivers, transplanted into a sturdy, vintage Zenith headphone shell. Note that the volume pots on the sides have been depotted, yet remain there for aesthetics. The pads are also custom-made, supported with closed-cell foam creating a tunnel for superior bass quality.
Dampened with the finest microfiber and foam with a reflex dot, these headphones are the best orthodynamic headphones I have ever treated my ears to, including the Yamaha HP1.
Calling it smooth would be an understatement. The Zenith headphones are also extremely detailed and speedy, possibly matching some electrostatic headphones in that regard.
I'm asking a bargain-basement $SOLD! or best offer for these superb headphones. International buyers, please contact me for a shipping quote.

Please ask any questions you may have!
Thanks,
Leon

I'll take that as a compliment. Glad to see someone thinks they look good!
