Faulty S4s

Thread Starter
So I've had two pairs of S4s in 2 weeks now, and both have had the same problem - cutting out in the right ear.
The first pair lasted about two months, until one day the right side refused to work unless you waggled the cabling around and got it just in the right spot - but even then that didn't last. So I returned them to Amazon UK and they sent me a brand new pair.
These, just today, have started doing the exact same. They're cutting out on the right hand side unless being held in the correct position etc.

Is the a common fault with the Klipsch S4? Is the build quality really that bad? I've had those popular cheap Sennheisers CX300s for two years now and they still work ok...

Is it worth getting yet another pair, just to have them go wrong or should I buy something new. I've looked at the RE0s and the Visang R03s... Any ideas?

It is actually highly uncommon.
I apologize for the trouble. Will Amazon UK replace them for you again?

I've had no issues with my S4's and I'm still "in love" with the Klipsch sound signature.  If you love what you're hearing from your S4's, (when they're working) you may be left wanting with the RE0's. I haven't read about the R03's.  The RE0's are supposed to rival the top tier IEM's in their presentation of Highs and Mid-range, but they apparently lack some depth (thump) in the Bass region.  They're apparently more precise and some have called them analytical.  If you prefer a warmer, more fun sound, I say get a replacement pair of S4's.  If you're looking for more Mid's and can live with less "thump" then give the RE0's a shot.  I'm tempted to try the RE0's myself, but I fear I'm too much of a Basshead to appreciate them.  Just my 2 cents...
