What wire to use?

I bought a bunch of different wire from navships a few days ago. Just arrived in the mail. What I don't use for audio will go to other uses.

I am not sure what is best to use for interconnects, or even a recable (later, not now, but nice to know for when I do it).

what I got:
teflon coated spc:
1) 24awg 19 strand
2) 24awg solid core
3) 26awg solid core
4) 28awg 19 strand

kapton and teflon coated spc (Kapton wire):
5) 28awg 19 strand

Which of these is best for interconnects, and which for a recable (for either hd650's or 595's)?

Thank you for any help.

Navship's teflon spc is quite stiff and microphonic and I wouldn't use it for headphone recables. Any of it would work for interconnects.. I'd go with the stranded simply because its more flexible. The 28awg may be fragile if you don't take proper measures to prevent stress on the conductors.

I haven't any experience with the kapton insulated wire.

It really depends on which wire - I got some tons of wire from navships before, some was stiff, some very flexible, some had thin coating, others had thicker coatings, really depends on which wire you chose.

For interconnects, I'd use 24awg solid, for headphones, any stranded.

24awg is my favor.

BTW, if I use the 28awg, I'm going to try for an 8-wire braid instead of 4 wire, so it should still have a decent amount of tensile strength (hopefully :P)
