Fischer Audio Eterna vs Silver Bullet - Page 4

just tried them with monster single flange and they match up really well

way better than stock tips and way more comfy

if the sb's are somewhat a cheap version of ie8 then it is good enough for me

I think the choice of tips is personnal, you can't find an overall answer. I don't use foam tips, I tried Comply T500, they're comfortable with very good isolation, but they give the feeling the sound is somehow clipped. The stock double flange tip from PL30 were fine but I couldn't find a place where I can buy some, I finally opted for single flange with large tube (Sony hybrids are narrower).

Ya, IF I ACTUALLY EVER GET TO BUY A PAIR THIS CENTURY, i wouldnt use the complys :\

Busted my butt to get funds to paypal just to buy as.  I dont really want to deal with the ebay seller anymore after quoted me wrong prices after i asked for X method, I should have checked and made sure it was for next day, but he listed two types and i asked for two types, so i assumed one was next day and one was 2nd day.  I was wrong.  After that hell i went through just to find a greendot and add the sufficient incorrect funds as quoted, i dont really want to deal with any sellers right now.  Very very upsetting.

and i will have to wait, im forced to >.> lol

sorry for double post, was curious mr. 2rooi, which monster set of tips were you using, the turbine, copper, tours? Ive got a chance to get my hands on a triple flange from the tours for a few bucks :\

md single flange

they deliver low bass as much as the sony hybrids while retaining an airy and wide soundstage

hmm

edit:

I was strongly urged by someone i know who has them to not use triple flange and to buy the best and softest med. or large double flange.

Ety has some good clear double flanges id like to try.  Finding them at a good price, or any other double flange of that style will be tough.

only interested in the double flange with a smaller head out front and not like the sonys which both the front and back end are thick and closer to the same size :\

Those won't really fit, as the SB has a wide UE sized bore. Ety/Shure/Westone use those small bores, typical of armatures.
