There was a change of plans; I'm putting off going balanced for a while.
This 6 foot cable uses Cardas molded headphone connectors and a gold plated 4-pin Neutrik XLR connector at the end.
It is covered in a soft multifilament nylon up until the y-split, and then a very flexible polyolefin heatshrink up to the headphones.
Teflon tape, thin-rigid plastic tubing, and adhesive lined heat-shrink makes up the y-split which is a more durable and a lightweight alternative to the bulky can-shaped things that seem to be getting popular.
The tip of the headphone plug measures 12 inch from the y-split, and 72 inches to the butt of the XLR connector
The headphone connectors are flush-filled with epoxy, the jacket adhered to the built-in strain relief, and all of it heatshrinked over to provide a better grip and additional protection against kinking.
Proper care was taken to reduce mechanical stress on the conductors.
Microphonics are fairly low, and the cable construction is uniform and flexible.
I really like this cable
$90 shipped, $18 for the adapter ($105 for the two)
The TRS to 4-pin XLR adapter is pretty straight-forward. 6 inches butt to butt, 12 inches tip to tip. Neutrik connectors on both sides, flexible cable, and the same workmanship. (no nylon sleeving on this one)

The pair of RCA cables uses Neutrik Profi connectors, 24awg coaxial cable, and covered in multifilament nylon. 24" butt to butt, 27" tip to tip.
Looking for $38 shipped. The connectors themselves are $30 but they're the best I've used
I'm moving some equipment around and I need a longer RCA cable.
