It is Qualia 010. When I first listen to this headphone I was really amazed by its details and resolution. I thought that dynamics were generally inferior to electrostatics in this category. It sounds like electrostatics and it is one of my favourite headphone.

Qualia indeed.

Good God though, he must have a ridiculous amount of money. I wonder if he bought them when they were still being made, or if he's an audiophile...?

I won't be surprised if he is an audiophile.
Reading up on him, he's been around music since he was little.
He must be knowledgeable / have some interest in audio if he chose the Qualias.
He can afford it so why not.

Such a shame that he has no idea how to wear them.

They are famous for the fact that if you do not get a good seal they sound terrible.

And he has a pair of glasses clamped in between the cups and his ears,NO Idea.

Edit{{And one cup is 30mm higher than the other.

Yeah, the Qualia definitely has an inimitable style, and if you've seen it before, you'll usually recognize it again.

And he looks pretty absurd wearing it like that. It's possible that the photographers are responsible for the glasses and the cocked angle, but the expression on his face makes him look like he hasn't taken his meds yet.

No need to be an audiophile. I'm guessing he might spend some time producing and listening to his own stuff so why not go with the top of the line on a popular brand like Sony.

You probably mean positioning, because as I know, those are some pretty open phones...
