For sale is my Cary 306 SACD (in silver). It is a great CD/SACD player. It has selectable upsampling, is fully balanced and can also serve as a stand alone DAC. The unit is in great condition and works flawlessly.
I am the 2nd owner. Unit was purchased from professional reviewer, David Clark of Positive Feedback. His review of the player is linked below. The pic above is one he took. Clark sent the unit to Cary for various upgrades. I don't recall what exactly but believe they relate to the transport and power supply. He also with Cary's approval added Marigo dots to the interior. Suffice to say, this is a maxxed out 306. I should mention that when he added the dots, he misplaced the screws to the top cover. The cover, however, slides in through grooves and is pretty heavy. It is not going anywhere and has never been an issue.
The specs for the unit, which are included in the review, are very impressive. One neat feature, not always mentioned, is that the player has a built-in level and by using the massive adjustable feet, you can get the unit dead-even with whatever surface you put it on.
The 306 will come double boxed (original Cary boxes) and include the manual and remote. Price is $2500 shipped. Payment is by Paypal (split the fee). Sale is US ONLY.
