Who sells Black anodized screws locally (SoCal)?

I need some #8-32 x1" Truss Head (combo drive) black anodized screws. I found some on-line, but the shipping is twice the price.

I already went to Home Depot, who does not carry any black screws, period.
Does anyone know a local seller in SoCal? ACE Hardware maybe?

Try Lowes? Fastenal?

You're unlikely to find black anodized aluminum screws at any local hardware stores. Given the small-ish size you might have a better chance of finding it at a local mom and pop store . Did you give mcmaster-carr a try? They have a location in socal so you can order online and pick up (granted, you'll probably have to buy a 100 pack).

Best place I've found so far is Fastener Express - Socket Head Cap Screws, Metric Screws , Fasteners and Anodized Aluminum for the Hobby Industry.
The metric selection is pure fail but they have all the common imperial (~shiver~) sizes of black anodized socket head screws used on most popular cases.

EDIT: Didn't read your entire post... I don't think they have what you want sorry.

Wow, that's a pretty lackluster selection of metric parts. It gives you false hope by showing a huge selection of colors at first...sneaky.

Try a bill's ace hardware I had some luck finding black anodised hex heads there..... the metric and imperial selection is pretty good....

UPDATE

Tried all kinds of local places, e.g. Hoyt, ACe, Home Depot, SoCal Bolt, Foothill Builder's Mart, Fastenal. Nobody carries them.

I ended up placing a special order with local Fastenal for the closest part they can order. Then I found out the cheaper ones on their catalogue were marked "anti-dumping" and cannot be sourced within U.S.

Ended up ordering more expensive stainless steel black ones to be hopefully available in a few days..

It's unbelievable how anyone can build anything with this kind of local availability. The Zinc colored screws would have looked terrible on my black subwoofer driver, and I was *this* close to giving up on the black screws. I guess I could have sanded down the zinc screw heads and spray painted them, but the paint would have come off with any more screwing/unscrewing..
